On October 13th, 2005 we held the JSF Foundation Art Auction. The event took place at 6:00 p.m. and was be held at Mayfair Farms in West Orange, New Jersey.
Guests were able to preview all of the artwork beforehand while enjoying Hot and Cold Hors d'oeuvres, pasta and carving stations, and a fine selection of international cheeses. All while listening to the coolest jazz around by B.D. Lenz and his band, and enjoying some fine wines and beers. The evening featured an extensive array of one-of-a-kind art, sports and music memorabilia presented by Ross Galleries, and a silent auction.
We also awarded our "JSF Bravest Kid" award LIVE that evening to Korey Kasparek from Austin Texas. Check out Korey's story by clicking here. We flew Korey and his Mother in from Austin Texas to present him with his award and make him our guest of honor that evening. Although their flight was delayed and they were held up in Chicago for most of the day, they stuck with it and made it to the event just in time to receive the award. Thanks for hanging in there and making the evening even more rewarding.
We would like to thank all of our sponsors and advertisers including; Russell Schiafo Construction, Inc., Luminar Solutions, Inc., Crest Florist, CRF Enterprises, LLC., Sandra Brittian, Town Toyota/Scion/Hyundai, and The Theater Project. Thank you to Mayfair Farms, all of the volunteers that worked so hard, all of our donors for the silent auction items and gift bags. Special thanks to Frank Basile for donating the sports memorabilia, and a very special thank you to Nat Nugent and Tony & Denise DePascale for their continued generosity. And last but not least, thank you to the rest of our very generous guests that braved the rain and made the evening a tremendous success. Thank you all for your continued support.
