Hackettstown Spring Festival
On May 5th and 6th, 2001 the JSF Foundation participated in the Hackettstown Spring Festival in Hackettstown, New Jersey. More than 15,000 visitors showed up to watch the musical acts, eat, drink and go on the rides. Many of which stopped by our booth to make a donation, purchase some of our merchandise, or simply to get further information about the JSF Foundation.
Some of the other vendors included Hackettstown Community Hospital, and M&M Mars which gave away hundreds of pounds of candy and supplied many games and attractions for the visitors. WRNJ 1510 am, a local radio station was in the booth next to us doing a live broadcast from the festival, and there was a live webcam broadcasting via the internet on the other side of us.
All in all, it was a very nice weekend and we would like to thank Christopher Phelan and the rest of the Hackettstown Area Chamber of Commerce for being so helpful and enthusiastic. We would also like to thank everyone that stopped by our booth to wish us well and make a donation. We look foward to returning next year for more fun and activities.
