Justin was the bravest kid we at the JSF Foundation have ever known, he headed into his treatments like they were nothing at all, not a worry or a concern ever crossed his mind, not a complaint ever muttered from his lips. In honor of his astonishing bravery the Justin Scott Foster Foundation created "The Bravest Kid" Award. This Special "Dream Fulfillment" prize is an award that is given to recognize a child that has/had some type of cancer and has gone through some tough procedures (ie: surgery, BMT, radiation, Chemo, etc.) and has shown him or herself to be especially brave in these situations.
The Justin Scott Foster Foundation is pleased to present special trophies and awards each quarter to the "Bravest Kid". The child's photo and feature story will appear on this website and be seen by all of our viewers world wide. If you are interested in submitting a story about your child or a child you know that is especially brave, please send your story and a photo of the child to:
The JSF Foundation
275 Rt. 10 East
Suite 220, Box 166
Succasunna, NJ 07876-1358.
This is not a contest, but an award to recognize these brave soldiers fighting the war against cancer.
In order to qualify for the "Bravest Kid" award you must submit in writing, a story about the child, the procedure he or she has gone through, and how you think they qualify as the "Bravest Kid". Award recipients will be chosen by the JSF Foundation staff based upon the story submitted. For a complete list of the eligibility rules please click here.
One (1) Grand prize, One (1) First prize and two (2) Honorable mention prizes will be awarded per quarter. Only the Grand prize winner will have their story and photo published. Good luck to all.
